My name is Michael Pead and I have extensive experience in electrical installations, industrial facility outages, and a combination of industrial facility maintenance and operations to successfully complete and facilitate large-scale projects, in order to maintain and enhance industrial turn around and the overall industrial process. I believe myself to be a very composed technician employing problem solving abilities to rectify complex challenges in a timely manner in fast-paced and high-pressure environments. When needed, I am a dedicated leader utilizing interpersonal communication capabilities to build rapport with teammates and internal leaders, safeguarding key stakeholder satisfaction. I work at Advansix in Hopewell, Va. as an E and I maintenance technician keeping the plant running smoothly is my number one goal and priority. One of my favorite things is troubleshooting! If part of the plant is down, something that I really enjoy is the pressure of it solely sometimes being "up to you" to figure out the issue that has certain processes of the plant or areas down. 10-10 I will not stop until I can figure it out and if it's figured out as a team and I don't quite understand it I will normally wrap my head around afterwards until I do! It's best if you love the job that you do! I love the career that I chose and I continue to try to improve and grow each and every day to better myself and prove to myself that anything is possible if you work hard enough and just BELIEVE in yourself!
