Co-founder and co-director of a completely new start-up business through to sale of shares.Trade Marked DeliSante branded and own-label manufacturer of premium artisan bakery products selling to Waitrose, John Lewis, Costco, Ocado and Morrisons produced in its own BRC A Grade factory near Milton Keynes. Shares sold in Sep 2015.

Project to develop new business opportunity of prepared cut fruit.

Passion Cafe Foods Ltd was a wholly owned subsidiary of Natures Way Foods Ltd producing value added leaf and leaf based meals and accompaniments.New ranges developed and launched with supporting Capex into McDonalds, Tesco and Costco.

Founder and Director of Petal. Projects included: Waitrose John Lewis Partnership - developed model for best supplier within fresh produce buyer team; Geest - Manufacturing Excellence program; and British Potato Council - paper written on removing open crop pricing and initialising contract pricing from retailer to primary packer / marketing organisation to grower.

A Ministerial appointed position representing the UK potato packing industry with a turnover in excess of £1bn - reporting through the Council to DEFRA and the Minister for Food, Farming and Sustainable Energy, the Scottish Ministers and the Welsh Assembly Government Minister.

Potato marketing business of £18m t/o increasing to £56m in 18 months through category management, merger and acquisition and went from being the 13th to the 3rd biggest potato business in the country. Solanum became sole supplier to Waitrose and other accounts with JS and Coop. Business became Produce World during this time.

Rowan Foods Ltd, Forrest Foods Ltd and R&B Dunstable £75m t/o.Assignment to correct losses of £275k per week which was achieved.Forrest Foods closed and production moved to Rowan.

Lenton Foods [Nottingham] and Pennine Foods [Sheffield] £40m t/o supplying chilled ready meals to M&S.Assignment to run then close Lenton Foods and transfer production to Pennine Foods.Announcement, through Consultation to final closure and transfer all completed.

Project to run Hammonds of Bradford [brown sauce, ketchup, pasta sauces and dressings], the vinegar brewery of Barrowford and the fruit and veg bottling and canning plant of Falkirk.Hammonds returned to profit and so securing contracts with M&S, McDonalds, Tesco and JS. Falkirk was successfully sold via MBO.

A defined project at a recently acquired business in Blackburn making ambient, chilled and frozen foods.Re-modelled old premises into low, medium and high care facility and launched a new range of products into Asda.

Joined the graduate entry scheme and then fastest UK promotion to Zone 6 manager.A combination of operational and technical roles working in the UK, Germany and Taiwan.
