I am currently a systems administrator (35T) for the Army. I have my Security+ (SYO-601) certification. I have experience with Windows Active Directory, Linux RHEL, and Cisco products. I have experience setting up communication devices, maintaining and fixing electronics, deploying networks from scratch, setting up routers and switches, and being a system administrator (to include monitoring the network). All together, I have 8 years of experience in IT and electronic repair.I work at L3 Harris as a Lab Manager. I am responsible for ordering of technical equipment and parts, tracking and reporting upcoming calibration, and coordinating to ensure it is completed on time so that products can be tested and delivered in a timely manner. Another responsibility is ensuring that correct security procedures are followed for the classified data and that the labs are compliant. I conduct weekly safety and quality audits to ensure the lab or products do not have any violations.Previously, I worked for Cubic as a Field Services Technician. I was tasked with the installation and maintenance of tap to pay systems at over 400 subway stations. I also performed electronic repair on various pieces of equipment.I have 5 years experience as a small electronics repairer for the Army. I was in charge of a maintenance section, as well as running the electronic maintenance section for 4000+ pieces of equipment. I also have experience in being an administrator on IT systems that were used to support operations. I was responsible for updates on the systems and to ensure that they remained operational.Currently, I am employed. I am also a student at St. John's University in the Cyber and Information Security Masters Program. I have studied various topics, such as pentesting, system administration, encryption, digital forensics, and incident response.I love to learn and teach. I work well with others and as part of a team. I am used to completing tasks with little to no oversight.
