Although retired I am a Professional Procurement Specialist with credentials and over 30 years experience in the Purchasing environment. I don't want full time work again but would love to pick up some contract or consulting work. I know I have the skills and experience to lead a team in successful Purchasing and Procurement for the best result and value for money for any orginisation whether it be Public or Private sector.

I was a Business Analyst in the Finance area of the Division I was working in. I was responsible for arranging Budget Bids for the upcoming year and then, after the Budget was allocated, I maintained a watch on expenditure, above and below the line. Reporting variations to the Divisional Head on Branch Heads budgets.

I was employed in the IT Division of Purchasing Australia. I was part of a team that formulated Common Use Arrangement contracts for "whole of governments" purchasing of all IT. That was Mainframe, Voice and Data, Maintenance, Software and Desktop hardware. I also managed the Help Desk to assist buyers locate a supplier and also advise if an item was available under contract.

I was a member of the RAAF in the Supply Category working my way through the ranks. I have had extensive training and experience in Stock Control, Inventory Management and Supply Chain Management. The result is that I have had experience and training in all aspects of Supply and Logistics. I received a Certificate of Outstanding Service for my performance in Logistics.
