Technical Support Officer
Current1. Monitor safety lined areas and ensures that they are always kept clear.2. Periodically checking operators to ensure setup, welding parameters etc. is to Hofmann quality and safety standards.3. Check work carried out in the section to ensure it is to Hofmann Standards, drawing specifications & welding specifications including the job card correctly signed and any inspection drawing completed before moving to the next operation.4. Review job cards prior to issue to the floor, add WPS and heat treatment details as required5. Maintain operator qualifications up to date and current in sytline.6. Liaise with Supervisor, Project Managers and Foreman on workshop issues.7. Liaising with Department Manager with regards to the training & qualification requirements of staff.8. Assisting the Department Manager with that training.9. Assist when the Fabrication Technical Manager is away.10. Maintain QA documentation.11. Collect MDR information as required.12. Obtain consumable quotations and enter them into sytline purchases order requisitions.13. Ensure that the company is kept up to date with industry best practice QA.14. Produce welder tractability record maps and enforce they use on the shop floor.
