I am excited about 280 Earth's plan to massively decarbonize our atmosphere through the lowest cost, highest net carbon removal engineered system. We're operating our commercial demonstration facility in Oregon and capturing CO2. Simultaneously, we are developing a robust pipeline of additional large-scale direct air capture projects.For the past two decades, I've been creating, building, investing in, and growing sustainability-focused companies and projects. I have worked in wind, solar, water recovery/efficiency, biofuels, and municipal solid waste recycling. Companies and projects include large utility-scale projects, behind-the-meter applications, and efficiency technologies. In total, these projects and companies have attracted over $1 billion of project equity, tax equity, and debt investment, and resulted in over 300 MW of renewable generating capacity, and millions of gallons of water recovered and reused.In previous work experiences, I was a management consultant at Bain & Company. I started my career in California's state government where I helped develop and implement public policy related to California's transportation infrastructure. Understanding government has been a useful background while developing renewable energy and sustainability projects.I currently serve on the San Mateo County Community College District Board of Trustees, the Redwood City PAL Center, and several other philanthropic endeavors.
