Led all aspects of data analysis for a multi-center genome-wide association study on the genetic basis of testicular cancer published in Nature Communications (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-021-24334-y). Analyzed genotype data using R (Bioconductor, ggplot/tidyverse) and bash, GWAS tools (PLINK, SNPTEST, GCTA) and databases (UCSC Genome Browser, NCBI dbSNP, GTex, gnomad). Developed code for data analysis and visualization (https://github.com/nathanson-lab/TGCT_2021_NatureCommunications). *Principle analyst on a study of immune-related adverse events in melanoma after treatment with ipilimumab and/or nivolumab, in partnership with Bistol Myers Squibb. Adapted GWAS methods to smaller datasets with complex clinical interactions. *Presented ongoing research at professional conferences, and assisted in preparation of manuscript. Provided analytical support to collaborators, graduate students, and other staff.

Developed detailed anatomical models of medial-temporal lobe structures in various resolutions; from in vivo 3T MRI to ex vivo histology. These models were used in creating machine learning software for automatic segmentation of these structures in vivo, while being informed by histology data (Adler et al 2018, PNAS). Performed statistical and image analysis on MRI and fMRI data for projects on Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, and normal aging. Directly supervised all junior staff (2-3 people) and undergraduate volunteers. Provided technical assistance to graduate students and post-doctoral fellows.

Analyzed MRI and fMRI data for projects in epilepsy, memory, dementia, and traumatic brain injury. Installation, maintenance, and training of peripheral devices for MRI experiments (eye tracking, response pad, audio and video)

Created a two-course sequence on statistics in research, emphasizing making statistics accessible. Taught 15-20 undergraduate students per section, 1-2 sections per term (8 terms, 10 sections total).
