I taught a seminar this semester in the University Honors Program on collapses of ancient societies and how these relate to the modern world. After studying the collapses of ancient societies, the seminar contemplated how these collapses might assist us in avoiding a collapse of our modern globalized society including but not limited to legal and policy.

I taught a seminar called "The U.S.-Mexico Border: Using Legal, Historical and Cultural Resources to Understand the Borderlands." In the seminar, we focused on the law, politics, culture, and history surrounding the U.S. Mexico border.

I worked in the areas of insurance defense litigation, commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation, insurance coverage advice (commercial general liability, reinsurance and excess) and products liability. I also assisted on matters dealing with Spanish speaking clients.
