I led a small team of two (PR Executives) at an extremely fast paced lifestyle & celebrity PR agency. As a department we managed all PR activity for our clients, which includes personal PR (including business leaders, entertainment & reality stars, and health & beauty experts) as well as product brand PR. Campaign highlights include: - Personal PR for business leader and philanthropist, John Caudwell. Securing profile interviews in the likes of The Times Magazine, BBC Radio 4 Desert Island Disc, OK! Magazine and Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO Podcast. As well as being interviewed for reactive news stories and sought-after slots with all major national print and broadcast publications. - Christine McGuinness' debut book 'A beautiful Nightmare' - The launch of The Teletubbies 25th anniversary album- Launching Peter Andre's fitness app '#itsfine'

As part of the small agency's management team I led on numerous client accounts in the theatre sector - from West End musicals to Fringe productions, world premieres and UK touring productions. I helped build and implement many bespoke PR campaigns, working with high profile talent and creatives. Securing excellent & positive coverage with all major publications, who I have excellent relationships with.

Being a part of a small team of 10 people within the agency allowed me to 'muck in' to an array of different jobs on all levels.I am an excellent story teller and brand creator who understands the media landscape - matching and pitching the writer story/talent to the appropriate journalist and outlet. I have organised large West End openings and press junkets to meet client's expectations (and beyond)!

• I worked closely with the Head of Marketing and Marketing Assistant on the theatre’s marketing campaigns, budgets and financial targets. • I was in charge of running show reports for the various productions, looking at trends and to compare against financial targets. This enabled the department to be more strategic in their forward planning. • I oversaw the venues PR locally (East London) and nationally. • I managed the venues social media channels, paid for and organic posts – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. • I briefed the designer on art work from discussions with the venue’s Artistic Director and the show’s director, photographers and film companies (mainly for EKPs and trailers). • As well as a producing theatre, the venue did a lot of work with young people through educational programmes, especially with young people from NEET backgrounds.• Programmes I used include: MailChimp (e-marketing) and Spektrix (CRM/Box Office system).

- Launched the theatre's first Chinese-language Pacific Festival to the national and regional media. I organised a press conference launch, as well as pitching and securing broadcast and print media interviews.- I managed the theatre’s PR, I earned coverage across multiple platforms from grassroots blogs, print weeklies, and bilingual newspapers to major TV networks. I gained press in publications the venue had not been in before. - I wrote engaging show copy for the brochure, website, direct mails, e-marketing newsletter and social media.

• I worked in an intimate marketing department for a busy regional arts centre. • I worked with visiting companies on their marketing and press, as well as creating our own in-house campaigns – pantomime, summer outdoor festivals, art exhibitions and classes being the primary focus.• The arts centre covers a variety of culture and arts from performing arts across two theatres, to art exhibitions in its gallery spaces and dance, art and drama classes in a variety of studios. • Line managed the publicity assistant role and interns. • I ran and updated the organisation’s website through the programme Wordpress.• Other programmes used include Databox (Box Office systems), Mailchimp and Purple Seven (Audience Engagement software).

• I ran the Front of House team when on duty which included: Volunteer Stewards, Security (on weekends), Box Office Assistants and Bar Management and staff. • To represent the arts centre and be the representative of the management team when on duty (especially on weekends and evenings). • To ensure a clean operation of the arts centre – ensuring performances and cinema screenings went up on time and customer service was of a high level from all team members.• First aider and fire officer on duty and to ensure the safety of all staff and customers. • I managed room bookings and worked occasionally in the admin department. I used Artifax regularly for managing room bookings.• Regular problem solver during a shift.
