Managing, at Group level, the destination airport operations of TUI’s five component airlines. Achieved by continuous engagement with service partners, airports, charterers, government agencies and in-house divisions. Responsible for stakeholder management, implementation of procedures, maintaining standards and delivering KPIs (safety, revenue, customer service, on time performance) across twenty diverse airports on four continents. Working closely with Operations Control and Scheduling to ensure an efficient flying programme.Responsible for all flights in support of both Marella (TUI UK’s in-house cruise arm) and Carnival UK. Developed current shipboard/port check-in procedures and managed their introduction across Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.Tasked to reconnoitre and evaluate new destinations, followed by tendering and selection of suppliers, training and operational start-up.Regular reviews of downroute standards and quality assurance, as required by AOC regulators. Investigate, analyse and trend incident and safety reporting from a variety of sources.Support ad-hoc/VIP operations as advanced party or as onboard Loadmaster for up to 25 days.Close partnership with Procurement and Finance divisions to ensure tight management of capital and that opportunities are identified and optimised.Developed and rolled out global training and ground support programme for the company’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner, ensuring smooth entry into service.The role requires not only an office based skillset, but also extensive foreign travel to personally oversee operations and act as de facto Station Manager at multiple locations. This calls for a very independent and self-motivated individual.IATA Dangerous Goods by Air (Cat 6/10) qualified; valid until March 2023.
