Personal Profile Since Leaving School at the age of fifteen I have gained a total of 47 years sea experience with a total of 27 years fishing skipper, 23 of these years I spent as Skipper of my own fishing vessel the 24 metre MFV RESOLUTE A127 which I gained the basic operation of marine diesel engines and ancillary equipment.During this time I also gained experience in the seismic survey and pipe laying field in the capacity of chase boat skipper and also as fisheries liaisons officer on board various survey and pipe laying vessels. Since the loss of my fishing vessel in late 2006 I have undertaken jobs as relief skipper on various fishing vessels and for 2 years have captained a Grab hopper dredgers working in multiple ports and harbours around the UK, also during this time I have skippered a 15mtr passenger ferry which uses water jet propulsion across the River Wyre Estuary in Fleetwood Lancashire.Specialties: basic, first aid, medical, ministry of defence, netscape navigator, operations, personnel, procedures, radio, safety, teamwork, training, vhf, writing,
