42nd MP BDE ( 07/2008-03/2012• Developed system security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures to ensure systems, network, and data users understand and adhere to security policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans• As the primary training officer, oversees and manages the ATCTS and Remedy databases that tracks the training and certification requirements of all IA personnel on the installation. Additional tasks includes processing and approving vouchers, validating training and certifications taken, and tracking compliance with DoD 8570 workforce requirements for IA personnel. Other critical tasks include coordinating and planning various training events to increase IA awareness, such as the quarterly IA Symposiums; managing and processing over 50 weekly transactions in regards to appointment orders submissions and requests for privileged access to systems on the installation; advising and providing guidance to all unit commander, IMOs, SAs, and IASOs. Verified and inspected Personnel Security records to ensure compliance with appropriate background investigation requirements commensurate of AR 25-2 IT designations. • Served as the (S6) Supervisor for 4+ years while increasing productivity and decreasing down time by training all personnel as well as ensuring all (S6) Personnel had obtained all training as well.• Assigned as the Training and Inspections Program Manager for the IA Division that services over 700 IA Personnel and 50 Tenant and Garrison Units for the Fort Lewis Installation. Duties consist of conducting information assurance auditing of units to ensure compliance with applicable DoD, Army, and Local regulations, policies, guides, and procedures; as well as the management and oversight of all the training and certification of unit IMOs, SAs, and IASOs on the installation.
