Initially my role that of a System Integrator. My responsibilities were to help company´s customers complete IT related projects and support their existing IT infrastructure.Later I held the position of Professional Support. As an outsourced IT support professional, I was working for a ship management company where my primary responsibilities were to visit the vessels, carry out routine maintenance, install/upgrade software the vessel is using or will use in the future and troubleshoot any issues the vessel may have. My latest project was upgrading the PMS (Plan Maintenance System) software used to the latest version.While onshore, my responsibilities were daily administrative tasks such as check the backup logs, check the antivirus management software to detect any potential virus infections, support the office users with their daily tasks and assist the vessels remotely with whatever issues they may face.

At Colliers initially I was required to work as part time employee (2004-2007), due to the limited company needs. When the company grew bigger, I was working as a full timeemployee to cover its needs. Responsibilities:Install and maintain company’s firewall (Checkpoint). The firewall policies were decided at the company’s headquarters.Install, configure and maintain company’s servers. Initially company had 1 server with RedHat Linux 7.3 which was hosting Lotus Domino server. Later Windows 2003 was installed on that server. 2 additional servers were purchased later, one for hosting the SQL server 2005 required for Navision ERP application and and the other for hosting Blackberry server.Installation, configuration and administration of Lotus Domino Server, the main platform for company’s business operations.When the company moved into another office, I supervised the whole project (ensuring cabling, telephone lines, internet and everything else needed would be ready for the company to move). After careful planning the entire project was competed successfully in a single weekend.Development of C# applications to cover various business needs.
