Maintain and install Microsoft Windows in various environments. Upgraded servers and desktop PC's for a Point of Sale, Warranty, Service, and Accounting system for a large RV Dealership. Performed upgrades of servers to Windows 2008 and Windows 2003, also setup Active Directory and Exchange 2007. Worked on many projects, large and small. Installed and set up Microsoft Windows in various environments. Performed upgrade of many servers to Windows 2000, also setting up Active Directory and Exchange 2000. Worked on the redesign of an entire NT Domain at a major Financial Institution, which included the roll out of 80 new NT servers. Lead Engineer for a project that replaced computer cabinets for a large retail chain with stores all over the East Coast, setting a new standard of contractor performance for that retail chain. Assisted on Solaris installations.

Responsible for all the computers on the ARC Network. Managed multiple NT 4.0 servers and 40 WIN95 clients. Administered the Exchange 5.5 E-Mail system, after performing upgrade from 5.0. Administered the Microsoft IIS 4.0, working with developers to post Intra and Internet sites. Administered daily backups using Seagate Backup Exec. Established a standard configuration for computers and implemented it to stabilize the network. Managed network security, including user accounts, auditing, RAS, and Internet firewalls. Worked on setup of a Network Operations Center. Performed fieldwork as needed at customer sites.

Responsible for configuration and technical support of all computers on the network (approx. 120 PC's) between the Needham and RI offices. Managed the upgrade of the office from Win 3.1 to Win 95, including a wiring certification, a major hardware purchase, and the installation of a T1 line between the Needham and RI offices. Assisted the users on upgrades of software. Taught classes on the use of software. Provided support to the Hartford, CT office.
