Currently building 4 class room extension to a Primary School in Liverpool.Contract cost approx £300.000.

Currently managing a new build project of 6 No flats for a Housing Association. Contract sum of £500.000.Managing a new build and refurbishment project, on an existing industrial site in Rainford, contract worth around £300.000.

Managed the construction of a Mental Health Facility. Which required working to a very specific and detailed plan to meet the NHS requirements with all fixtures and fittings being anti-ligature as standard. Also managed the refurbishment of a Local Authority Office building. Which mainly comprised of a Mechanical services fit-out. Recently finished a £2,000,000 refurbishment to the Radiology Department at Aintree Hospital.

Managed sub-contractors on a £ 37million new build retail, commercial and residential project.The project comprises of a steel frame structure, stonework façades, traditional roof structure and two levels of underground car parking facilities.Duties comprise of maintaining a close working relationship with the design team to provide practical solutions to design issues and problems. Also responsible for overseeing the work of sub-contractors, maintaining high standards of health and safety on site and ensuring efficient application of resources. This role requires the ability to apply my extensive constructive knowledge effectively to a variety of situations and to display effective team leadership skills

Managed sub-contractors on £18 million refurbishment of a 150 year old Grade II listed building for Warner Estates. The internal market hall was demolished and a new steel frame was erected to form 25 new retail units. These units where then fitted out by retailers such as H+M and Zara for whom I was also required to manage the shop fitters.Role included overseeing extensive new mall works, new floor and wall finishes and a complete redecoration of the existing cast-iron structure. As the site was located in the city centre, with minimum storage space I was required to plan efficiently for deliveries of resources and display an accurate and in-depth knowledge of the development of the project.I managed a full mechanical fit-out with 7 new lifts and an escalator and oversaw extensive works to the exterior of the building with a complete re-roofing and stone repairs.

Managed the construction of a £2.5 million Mental Health Facility. Was required to work to a very specific and detailed plan to meet the NHS requirements with all fixtures and fittings being anti-ligature as standard.The building was a traditional construction 3 storey with external facilities, fenced garden and exercise area. Also there was a car park for 40 cars.

Role involved dealing with void properties and improving turnaround performance to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Required to diagnose building defects and instruct contractors to carry out specific repairs whilst managing and adhering to the monthly repair budget. This helped me develop excellent awareness of costs and the ability to plan in advance to meet employment requirements.Managed major investment improvements, window, door, kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes to meet homes standards.Involvement in the procedures for the carrying out of the yearly gas servicing programme.Also involved in the working groups for the Association leading up to the Audit Commissions inspection which achieved a two star rating.

Dealing with void properties, organising day to day repairs and diagnosing building defects.Raising orders for contractors to carry out repairs on a computerised system.Monitoring maintenance budget on a monthly basis.Tracking contractor performance and producing K.P.I,s on quality, cost and time scales.Dealing with tenants on a daily basis, either in person or on the phone.

Involvement in all aspects of brickwork including reading drawings and setting out brickwork and blockwork. Also required to function at a management level and organise workloads and take responsibility for other workers on site.

Involved in a broad range of private and commercial building work including houses, conversions, extensions and conservatories. Also developed skills in drainage, flagging, pointing and roofing.Helped provide me with a well rounded knowledge of construction methods and being self employed encouraged me to develop financial awareness of project costs and efficiency.
