I am currently a student at Brigham Young University Idaho studying Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering. I am currently gaining experience working with members of ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) on the University’s Timber Strong Engineering team as a freshman participant. While I currently lack skills that I am working hard to acquire to enter into the civil engineering industry, I believe my character brings value to what I have to offer. I am someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and amiable. I work hard to build relationships of trust with those I work with, and I value opinions and perspectives that differ from my own. I also believe in the importance of learning from mistakes. I am teachable, open to criticism and correction, and eager to learn. This makes me easy to work with, and as I gain further experience, I am confident in my abilities and desires to be an asset to any company I work for in the future.
