- Taught Essential Math (MTH091), Pre-Algebra (MTH099E), and College & Career Preparation (COL115) Courses in the Developmental Education Department.- Related math, English, and writing subjects to students in various ways and related them to day-to-day life experiences to help them understand the importance of math.- Introduced students to various fields in Business, Health Sciences, CIS/Technology, & Education/Human Services and showed them the importance of math, reading, and writing in each field. - Made learning fun through various games and teaching methods. - Taught at a reasonable pace to help alleviate tension the students had with math. - Held office hours and was available by phone or email to provide students with the extra help needed to understand subject matter.

Has since created a second scholarship for graduating high school seniors attending a Michigan college/university or a HBCU- Works with Board of Directors to effectively run foundation as well as organize 3 yearly fund raising events - Bowling (April), Golf Tournament (August), Dinner Dance (December).- Raised over $40,000 through fundraisers and provided 7 scholarships to outstanding, worthy individuals from the Metro Detroit Area attending Central State University.

- Prepared bid for the rehab of public housing complexes owned by Inkster Housing Commission.- Managed subcontractors in the renovation of Parkside Estates (132 units) for Inkster Housing Commission. Work included demolition, painting, flooring, doors, plumbing, cabinets, electrical, and fire units. Approximately $1,557,000 project.- Scheduled and oversaw all aspects of each phase of the project from preconstruction inspections, to demolition, to supplier deliveries, to day-to-day construction work, to project meetings with the owner, to punchlist, to turn-key.

- Worked on Walbridge Aldinger/Jenkins joint venture project for the Detroit Water & Sewage Department. In charge of all as built drawings for project. Approximately $100,000 portion of project. - Worked on several commercial projects where I communicated with all subcontractors, the architect/engineer, and the owner to resolve field issues and maintain the schedule of the project.- Produced memos, RIFs, submittals, and monthly reports for several projects.

- Programmed both large and small-scale events for residents of wing, floor, and building.- Helped start an engineering living-learning program in residential hall (Steeb Hall).
