As EMC's SVP of sales, System Engineering and Professional Services for North America McCarthy managed $5.6 billion in sales and more than 3,200 employees.As President and COO of Storageapps McCarthy was instrumental in completing a sale of the company to Hewlett Packard for $350 million. Prior to the acquisition McCarthy had increased headcount from 100 to 220 employees and had achieved a $50 million in annual sales.
