As an IT support technician with expert skills in Desktop Support and IT Project supervision. Since leaving Verizon and now contracting at Raytheon , I have been exposed to Dept of Defense processes implemented in the Raytheon environment . The ability to embrace change and learn rapidly new practices and applications is a strength. I firmly believe in the Team concept for IT support because it gives strength in the knowledge that if you don’t know something a team member may be able to provide the answer to the issue. Combine that with a knowledge base of documenting policies and procedures and how to perform tasks, the IT team will be effective and efficient. Also good communication is key to disseminating information that can be proactive in avoiding issues. One of my strengths is I know what I don't know and not afraid to admit it. When I don't know something I search out a person or resource that will provide me the information I need to gain the knowledge. I enjoy learning new things, new ways of doing things expanding what I do know. I'm a reliable person that takes responsibility for what I do and can admit mistakes owning them learning from them. I like to do things one time correctly the first time by doing the proper preparation for success. I share my knowledge with anyone that needs it. I'm not an information hoarder that thinks that keeping information is a way to build value. My value is I share so that there are more people that can help with issues to get things done quickly and efficiently. People that have worked with me. would I hope, describe me as a person that gets things done and a hard worker.
