• Direct report to the CEO/Board of Directors – Managed all aspects of operations from procurement, production operations, quality assurance, distribution, and warranty• Fiscal responsibility for all aspects, including operations staff of 160, facilities in Stowe, Grand Junction, and San Francisco• Moved/brought up Grand Junction facility from empty warehouse to 40,000 square foot factory employing 120, and producing 240,000 pairs of snowshoes the first year

• Released new products into production, handling all aspects of the product transfer from Product Design to Production – co-reported to Director of Operations and VP of Product Design• Initial MPM involvement in Origin2000: wrote, maintained, and drove the Manufacturing Business Plan and the Phased Introduction Plan (Beginnings of SGI’s Integrated Product and Process Development)• Supported the development of the Origin2000 product early development stages for appx. 6 months• Transitioned to ONYX2 Graphics Product, and released it to production with the cleanest introduction in SGI history ($80 Million 1st Qtr.) Drove the Mfg. Foundations and Execution teams for Quote to Collect

• Design/Layout/Build/Staff a manufacturing facility for “Box” build at a run rate approaching 10,000 units per day (of a yet to be determined consumer product)• Designed and built a model shop, part number and inventory system, prototype line, procured and operated a Selective Laser Sintering system for “Box” modeling• Laid out and subsequently redesigned into office space four successively smaller factory layouts• Prototyped and tested approximately 10 different possible “Final Products”

• Staff and build the Manufacturing Engineering Team from 6 to 15 Manufacturing Engineers • Developed Product and Process documentation required to meet FDA and GMP requirements• Launched 4 new products into the Minimally-Invasive Surgical Devices market

• Provide expertise in High Volume, World Class Manufacturing• Worked with the R&D Team to develop a hand held Navigation Device that was one-fourth the size, weight, and power consumption of the previous product• Became the New Product Introduction Manager for the product line, and introduced it to Manufacturing- Implemented the first Continuous Flow, Flexible Process Module for the company, allowing model change at any time, with no WIP at close of shift, using repetitive techniques and JIT component delivery- Developed all of the required fixtures, test, and assembly documentation• Managed the Process Module, which represented 20% of the Gross Revenue for Trimble

• Led an Inter-Divisional and Cross-Functional design team of 17 Engineers to develop an integrated Chassis Control System for the 1992 and later Cadillacs (The Northstar System)

• Responsible for design, specification, validation, release, and implementation of brake systems for Cadillac

• Responsible for Design and Simultaneous Engineering of Brake Components (Typically 5-15 K/day)
