My internship at Magna exposed me to LEAN manufacturing practices, and I performed time study analysis of production processes. I was fortunate to implement this culture of production on Hot/Cold stamping processes for forming automotive parts.

As a summer intern, I worked in the engineering department to stake out new and existing fiber optic build. I took the data gathered and designed multiple maps using Autocad for reference/new build proposal.

As a lineman/ground hand I had the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of fiber optic construction. Starting out on a Google Fiber project in the Nashville area using GPS/rangefinder/height stick to measure and map out existing fiber optic lines throughout the city. Later I took part in the aerial construction side running new build fiber optic lines. I was even fortunate enough to travel to the Bahamas to help rebuild after a hurricane destroyed all communication lines.
