CurrentCreation of bill of materials. Which is being used to ensure the correct parts and components are being ordered and tracked by an ERP software (Epicor), which is being brought into the organisation.Managing jobs in Epicor, created from BOMs to backflush material in stock and keep track of any work in progress. Then receipt jobs into stock before being shipped to customer.Responsible for handling trailers on Master Planner, used for scheduling build dates.Creation of a product configurator, within Epicor. Which will form the base of a new customer quotation and ordering system. Involves applying product knowledge built up from working with Dennison Trailers.Created a Quality Issue Register, which is used to document issue found with trailers and list down recommended actions to prevent the issue from happening in the future. This also includes creating a checklist that is not covered in Pre-Delivery Inspection.Reimplementation of lean manufacturing process to remove unnecessary work performed on the trailer.Creation of trailer drawings, using AutoCAD. Which is used for production.Ordering axles and axle/suspension parts for trailer builds for Naas, since 2020. At times ordering other trailer parts when required.Ordering trailer components and kits, since 2024, such as; electrical, EBS, pneumatic, wheel assemblies, bracketry...
