There followed three frantic years riding the roller coaster of revolution - real or imagined - from Tunis to Damascus, with Cairo, Tripoli and Manama in between. Professional high point; the thrill of witnessing history unfold before my eyes in Tahrir Square. Personal low. Being held at gunpoint in the Rixos Hotel as the battle for Tripoli raged all around.
