This position is responsible to lead and support deployment activities at their facilities.-Support their facility's TQPS deployment.-Support the development, implementation, and direction of the plant Lean strategy together with the Operations Manager in alignment with TQPS.-Leads and facilitates Team Leaders training and development.-Assist in the coordination of TQPS activities & training on an ongoing basis while coaching/mentoring TQPS Group Leaders, TQPS Team Leaders and Plant Leadership.-Ensures compliance with EH&S, Quality, and TQPS guidelines during all training, workshops and events.-Application, implementation, and promotion of ALL the TQPS principles & methodologies.-Support & promote engagement of all Associates relating to all aspects of the TQPS principles & methodologies and other areas as delegated.-Gather data as needed to assist in the development of a P-D-C-A implementation plan.-Identify & make recommendations for reducing waste and improving efficiency.-Coordinate & participate in maintaining the TQPS principles for NASG.-Promote team building through consensus while improving associate morale and relationships.-Insure proper documentation of all activities relating to maintaining & implementing TQPS.-Coordinate and facilitate A.I. Team meetings to support TQPS principles & methodologies.
Manager Production
Responsible for planning production schedules, and overseeing the manufacturing activities in pursuance of business goals. Includes development of policies and procedures designed to increase productivity, assure quality and mitigate production problems. To this end, the Production Manager will improve throughput and other in-house processes with the objective of reducing overall costs and enhancing customer satisfaction.Responsibilities• Provide leadership for developing and directing manufacturing and plant initiatives for all company products• Manage long-term strategic plans and tactical implementation of production systems• Develop systems to evaluate, score and implement manufacturing process improvements• Develop a strong relationship with the Plant Manager and work as a team towards the advancement of the production department• Daily and weekly manpower planning based on production needs• Conduct monthly staff meetings• Support new product development and continuous improvement by integrating tools (ex. Plant Lms Lead/Gms Implementation
Conduct OSHA Regulatory Compliance audits to ensure that the plant develops and maintains OSHA Compliance. Helps the individual champions to develop action items/countermeasures for all non-compliant items.Provide PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) support and direction for General Assembly. Developed and Maintained PFMEA tracking for all fast response problem solving issues for quality audits. Launch diesel PFMEA modules. LMS (Lean Material Strategy) Coordinator/Lead for 2016 product launch. Develop and coordinate continuous improvement and error proofing for the new LMS kit system for production. Develop action plans for all issues involving quality and through-put. Manage changes in the system through thorough communication to all departments. Throughput Improvement Process (TIP) Lead/Coordinator. Develop, drive and maintain the TIP for General Assembly Production. Develop, maintain and analyze Throughput trends to suggest improvement scenarios to the Department head and their shift leaders.
Production Supervisor
Supervise a large group of employees involved in plant production operations. Work is generally of a technical nature with the ability to make decisions within the limits of general standards and practices. Large focus on problem solving and waste elimination. Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment. Meets production cost schedule and maintains quality requirements.
