Supports implementation of TQPS (TPS) Principles and Knowledge within NASG, enabling facilities to achieve significant business results by implementing the lean tools to remove waste while building the capability of Leadership in excellent process design, effective problem solving and knowledge sharing. Leads events and workshops to deploy and transfer knowledge of the Lean Tools to move process performance closer to the Ideal State. Through coaching and mentoring, the Division TQPS Kaizen Coordinator builds leader’s capability to teach & mentor TQPS principles in their subordinates, ensuring sustainability and continuous improvement. This position is responsible to lead and support deployment activities at their facilities.-Support their facility's TQPS deployment.-Support the development, implementation, and direction of the plant Lean strategy together with the Operations Manager in alignment with TQPS.-Leads and facilitates Team Leaders training and development.-Assist in the coordination of TQPS activities & training on an ongoing basis while coaching/mentoring TQPS Group Leaders, TQPS Team Leaders and Plant Leadership.-Ensures compliance with EH&S, Quality, and TQPS guidelines during all training, workshops and events.-Application, implementation, and promotion of ALL the TQPS principles & methodologies.-Support & promote engagement of all Associates relating to all aspects of the TQPS principles & methodologies and other areas as delegated.-Gather data as needed to assist in the development of a P-D-C-A implementation plan.-Identify & make recommendations for reducing waste and improving efficiency.-Coordinate & participate in maintaining the TQPS principles for NASG.-Promote team building through consensus while improving associate morale and relationships.-Insure proper documentation of all activities relating to maintaining & implementing TQPS.-Coordinate and facilitate A.I. Team meetings to support TQPS principles & methodologies.

Responsible for planning production schedules, and overseeing the manufacturing activities in pursuance of business goals. Includes development of policies and procedures designed to increase productivity, assure quality and mitigate production problems. To this end, the Production Manager will improve throughput and other in-house processes with the objective of reducing overall costs and enhancing customer satisfaction.Responsibilities• Provide leadership for developing and directing manufacturing and plant initiatives for all company products• Manage long-term strategic plans and tactical implementation of production systems• Develop systems to evaluate, score and implement manufacturing process improvements• Develop a strong relationship with the Plant Manager and work as a team towards the advancement of the production department• Daily and weekly manpower planning based on production needs• Conduct monthly staff meetings• Support new product development and continuous improvement by integrating tools (ex. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.) into processes.• Assist in training production workers in problem-solving techniques and on-the-spot production troubleshooting.• Determine optimum manufacturing processes and raw material usage• Consult with Quality Assurance staff and engineers on quality issues; evaluate the overall QA performance of the manufacturing unit• Manage manufacturing employees, production workers, and other staff; recommend optimal staffing levels and schedules• Improve production standards through time studies and other standard data development methods• Identify areas for waste reduction• Develop plant or process flow layouts to improve productivity• Create and maintain production and manufacturing documentation• Identify relevant training needs and opportunities

Conduct OSHA Regulatory Compliance audits to ensure that the plant develops and maintains OSHA Compliance. Helps the individual champions to develop action items/countermeasures for all non-compliant items.Provide PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) support and direction for General Assembly.
