Oversight of candidate selection & quality control to ensure the Bank's requirements were being met and reports were in compliance with accepted industry and international standards. The Banks Approved List was made up of over 100 firms covering 18 countries. - Drafted & prepared for Board Approval, then subsequent company wide implementation & role-out of the Bank’s Property Valuation & Construction Loan Monitoring Policies. - Prepared & presented educational materials & training throughout the Business on policy role- out and valuation report reading and review of content fundamentals. - Attended quarterly meetings with senior Bank management for the purposes of reviewing new propositions or deteriorating/ problem relationships as entered the Bank's Watch List. - Provided specialist input to credit reviews on specific projects and market implications. - Managed engagement with, & effective instruction of, 3rd party consultants and advisors to the Bank, both as construction monitors and valuation consultants, on the valuation and development of numerous hotels, luxury homes and commercial properties across the Caribbean. - Responsible for undertaking reviews of completeness / accuracy of valuation reports and 3rd party advice, to ensure that QS & Valuers were delivering the required quality of information to ensure that the risks to the Bank were quantified & understood. Maintained that reporting quality & compliance with industry standards , along with Bank's specific policy requirements, were being met.
