Ten-time Emmy Award-winner John Redmann currently works as Executive Producer/Showrunner for E! News. Previously Redmann served as Executive Producer, Showrunner and writer of "The Talk" on CBS for the first decade of the series (From October 2010 -August 2020). "The Talk" was Emmy-nominated for best show and best hosts for all 10 seasons he was there. Redmann's three Emmy wins for "The Talk" are for Outstanding Talk show (2016, 2018) and Outstanding Writing (2015). "The Talk" has also won The People's Choice Award (2016) and the NAACP Image Award for Best Talk Series (2016).Prior to that, Redmann served as Executive Producer and Showrunner for all five seasons of "The Tyra Banks Show" (2005-2011) - winner of two Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Informative Talk Show.Redmann successfully launched "The Tony Danza Show" as EP and Showrunner (2004-2005), and before that, he served as EP and Showrunner of "The Wayne Brady Show" for its two year run (2002-2004). Under his direction, "The Wayne Brady Show" earned four Daytime Emmy Awards in its freshman season including Outstanding Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host, and received six Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host in its second season.Previously, Redmann served as supervising producer on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" (1998-2002) for which he earned four Emmy Awards. Redmann also earned two Emmy nominations for his work on the Leeza Gibbons hosted NBC talk show "Leeza." His other television credits include "Ricki Lake," "Queen Latifah," and the late night comedy/talk show "Keenen Ivory Wayans."In prime-time television, Redmann created and served as Executive Consultant on ABC's "True Beauty" which was Executive Produced by Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher. That series ran two seasons. Redmann also created and executive produced the ABC Primetime special "Contact: Talking to the Dead" in 2002.
