In our updated and upgraded take on the halligan, it is given a few key upgrades, and is tweaked to perfection. As a father of 6 kids, I'm always thinking about how to keep my family (and kids everywhere) safe. After there was an active shooter situation in our city, my wife came to me with the idea to create a fail-proof system to guarantee our children could lock the door and keep an intruder out of their classrooms.When my wife came to me with her fears and concerns, I knew this was a challenge I had to solve. I immediately went to work with my team of engineers and consultants to figure out a way we could keep our kids (and all kids) safer at school.We needed something so easy, a kindergartener could use it. Something uncomplicated, so people could remember it when their hearts were racing. So we made the simplest, most secure device on the planet: Flip Lok.And then we took it beyond the classroom.FlipLok started as our family's solution to protect our children, and has since transformed to provide protection and peace of mind for Americans wherever they are – at school, at home, or in the office.
