John Reger is a self-made serial entrepreneur, best-selling author, speaker, & inventor. John’s passion for saving lives led him to invent two incredible safety and security products – the Ultimate Halligan & FlipLok. His most recent invention, FlipLok, is a safety device designed to protect children in case of a shooting, or threat of a shooting, at school – as well as to protect people in their homes, dorm rooms, offices, and more. John is the current owner of ten businesses, the first of which he started at only 18 years old. His companies range from clothing lines and shopping centers, to life saving devices, to window tinting, to real estate investment and management firms, and beyond. John grew up in a poor family with 7 siblings in Houston, TX, dropped out of school at age fifteen, and began his entrepreneurship journey in 1988 when he started his first company, Executive Tint, which is still in business today. He was determined to exceed expectations and was a firm believer in "never doing just enough." He considers himself an engineer, designer, contractor, and businessman all in one. He enjoys collecting exotic cars but also enjoys a casual life by driving his truck or Jeep Cherokee daily.
