CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCEFollowing my degree in Management and Design Technology I have undertaken a number of positions in management, supervisory and engineering roles within leading organisations such as The Rural Payments Agency and Duraloc Ltd. These placements have enabled me to develop not only specific industry experience, but also a valuable and transferable skill set in design, training and supervisory roles. Since this time I have retrained at Sunderland University and gained a PGCE in Technology with a specialism in Engineering. I am a highly-motivated and results orientated individual, with a proven track record of going above and beyond to succeed. I believe that my engineering skills have been further enhanced due to my significant experience within project leadership in a variety of settings.During a temporary contract with Atkins Rail, I worked with the Scottish division contributing to a project and managed the data processing, liaised with various divisions, formulated media reports and participated in group project meetings. Utilising excellent communication skills, I developed and maintained successful working relationships with both internal and external staff. As a project Manager for Duraloc Ltd I furthered these skills and liaised with a number of local and global organisations to develop concepts from start to conclusion on a number of projects.I am looking to secure a position in an organisation, where I am encouraged in creativity and high-order thinking to increase performance and utilise modern methods to solve problems. To achieve success and see projects through from initial concepts to production. I feel I can bring immediate and strategic value and remain motivated to develop my current skill set further.
