After graduating from UBC in 2010 John was selected to lead a development project in Honduras through CIDA, helping local coffee farmers establish their own agricultural cooperatives. Since then he has had the opportunity to lead dozens of projects in 4 countries and 8 cities. John combines his love for business and global exploration and takes every opportunity to pursue these two passions. In 2013 after living in Japan for 2 years, John founded his first Company JapaCar, a specialty car importer specializing in small Japanese kei cars and trucks. He quickly became one of Western Canada's largest importers of Japanese Kei trucks, and the recognizable JapaCar Logo can still be seen on many of the vehicles driving around Vancouver to this day. Through this experience he learned many valuable lessons in business creation as well as how to overcome the challenges of dealing with a business model on an international scale. In 2015 John Joined the team at Momentus Software as their Business Development /Ops Manager where he helped Momentus expand internationally with the opening of 3 new offices, and multiple new retail and service ventures. It is here that he realized his calling, helping business owners develop and grow their businesses. John decided to start his own company, Reynolds Business Development Solutions in 2018. Since then, he has brought his expertise to countless restaurants, retailers, agricultural projects and even helped a fashion brand show at NYC and Tokyo Fashion weeks. He loves new and exciting projects where he can expand on his expertise.
