Dr. Terry Rickard has over 50 years of experience in advanced technology, financial and mining organizations, all of it in management and/or technology development positions. His engineering technical expertise includes signal processing, optimization, neural networks, fuzzy and expert systems, and graphical knowledge representation and inference for computational intelligence. He has additional expertise in multiple financial engineering disciplines, including transaction systems, market structures, financial analytics, data mining, derivatives pricing, risk analysis and trading strategies. He is an active researcher in the field of type-2 fuzzy systems technology. He has served as a senior executive and on the board of directors of several companies, both public and private. He is currently a board member of Till Capital, Ltd. (TSX.V: TIL). He is also the CEO and a board member of Silver Predator Corporation (TSX.V: SPD), an exploration mining company. He is a founder and managing partner of Royalty & Streaming Advisors LLC, a company for which he developed novel analytical methods for estimating the fair market value of royalties, options on royalties and upfront payments on streaming contracts under uncertainty and imprecision for the mining and oil and gas industries. He served as the Chairman of the Management Committee of Tintic Consolidated Metals LLC, the owner of the East Tintic mining district near Provo, UT and was involved in equity and debt capital raises for the reopening of multiple precious and base metals mines in this district prior to the company being sold to Osisko Development Corporation (TSXV: ODV, NYSE: ODV). He is the Chief Data Scientist of Meraglim Holdings, Inc., a private company involved in Predictive Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS) for global macro-economics and industry applications. He developed and has patents pending on the computing-with-words technologies employed in Meraglim’s RAVEN™ product.He serves as an expert witness in intellectual property litigation for multiple companies and has consulted for multiple companies in the defense, financial and mining industries. He has authored over 80 technical publications in several branches of engineering and in the fields of electronic market structure, financial instruments, matching algorithms and trading strategies, all of which have appeared in refereed technical journals, books and conference proceedings. In addition, he has authored 11 issued patents and has additional patents pending.
