I will continue to work in health care and will continue to be a patient advocate for better health care for all of those who need health care. No matter their religious beliefs, sexual orientation, nationality, social economic status, legal / or illegal entrance into the country, born in or out side of the USA. I became a nurse to care for the sick, disabled or just needing a little help to cope with everyday life. I became a nurse to help all people and for me it's not about money, I get great satisfaction from the respect, love and sense of family from clients/patients/ family members that i help/ touch their lives or just become like a part of their families or family to someone that has no one. For me this is my Career and not a job to make lots of money and not really care about what nursing is supposed to be as Florence nightingale started and believed in so many ages ago. I feel that home health care has gone from caring for the patients/ clients totally to do as little as possible to make as much money as you can with very llittle to patient care. I am and I always will be and do my very best to help patients/clients get all the best care that they deserve and have a right to receive, no matter how much money I make at it. It is more important and much more rewarding to me to help patients/ clients become healthier / happier in their lifes knowing that someone really cares about them. This is why I became and continue to be a home health nurse to be a voice for those that can not speak loud enough to receive equal and the best health care that they deserve.
