Successfully developed and delivered the lighting system for Model S (13 all new lamps) Reflecting Tesla Styling image and vision, exceeding, functional and performance targets, Meeting all legal homologation requirements for all markets. (SAE, ECE and CCC) on time. SOP June 2012. . Working with our Tier 1 supplier and all departments within Tesla, maintained strong relationships, working with, Styling, Body Engineering, Finance, and Electrical, Supplier chain, Supplier Quality and our Assembly plant.In parallel, completed the introduction of the Roadster HID headlamp option (completely new Headlamp development). for both SAE 35W and the ECE Markets homologation of the 25W HID system (first such system in Europe). This was a low cost tooling program due to the lower volume, I was able to improve both performance and quality in less then 8 months.As Tesla has grown I have developed a lighting team (small by industry standards) which launched a state of the art, all LED lighting system for Model X. I am continually pushing boundaries in all lighting technology development areas, Including Laser, DMD and OLED, keeping in focus my goal of delivering great Tesla product, establishing us as a Lighting Technology Leader.
