The Network Solutions team helps customers achieve improved performance in their supply chains and logistics networks through collaboration on a range of different types of improvement projects. We are particularly specialized in network design & transportation optimization where we've completed hundreds of projects across a variety of industries in nearly all world regions. We use advanced modeling, optimization and simulation software to help customers make decisions that are data driven and will sustain high performance as their networks evolve over time. Our team is also responsible for the design of Lead Logistics and other types of integrated solutions that tend to have high levels of both complexity and nuance. Global advocate for 2 mulit divisional global customers. Increased revenue 40% year on year to a total of $30m annually. Developed solutions for a merge in transit solution for Eastern Europe, EMEA hub network and European value added warehousing. Based in Brussels, Belgium.Exposed to all core services to include parcel, express road, LTL, Air, Ocean, Warehousing and solutions.

Responsible for European Business Development of 4pl solutions for global customers. This was a fascinating 2 years developing a broad knowledge of the 4pl market and different customer expectations. I was exposed to a wide range of Supply Chain solutions designs. I was privileged to work and learn from a very talented and diverse team. Based in Cologne, Germany.

This role was a great opportunity to learn new skills and sharpen existing ones around global automotive supply chain. I spent time throughout the US, Europe and Asia working on logistics planning and setting up logistics networks to supply new manufacturing plants. I really got to see production planning, inventory optimisation, supplier material control first hand from inside the Customer's mind. Task force leader achieving operational excellence and implementation of innovative outsourced transportation solutions (a European inland transportation solution delivered savings of $1 million annually).

Responsible for Multi-national customers across Europe. Learnt about the automotive industry and the principles of "lean manufacturing". Lead a team that delivered a customised logistics implementation plan for a start up manufacturing plant in Asia. Initiated the development of a PO management system that was adopted as best in class. Worked with some fantastic colleagues and customers throughout Europe and Asia at senior exec level.

A new challenge qualifying and responding to RFQs including solution design and information sourcing. This developed into presenting the final solution and the last minute negotiations. Secured global pharma business ex Europe worth $12m per year and automotive business between Europe and Asia worth $25m per year.
