My background is in academic research where I examine how forces generated by cells influence the growth and pattern formation of tissues as an animal develops to take form. My skill-set is advanced confocal microscopy techniques and image analysis to probe how much force cells produce and their behaviour. I generate and analyse complex 4D data-sets, to answer fundamental questions on how organs acquire their stereotypical shape and size.
