While at SMS I have: - Built a mobile communications platform for the Army to be used in Forward Operating Base (FOB) deployments - CTO for a $300M Lockheed Martin contract to provide IT services to DHS - Developed IT migration plan for the 100+ DHS FPS CONUS facilities - Enterprise Architect for DOL's Data Center Consolidation Initiative (DCCI)

With the acquisition of RealOps completed my new role was to begin work with the worldwide sales team to help position the newly acquired Runbook automation tool into the overall BMC product family. As a BMC Solutions Architect I was involved with the largest and most involved sales opportunities to help ensure the solution was technically sound and aligned with the business objectives of the customer.

During my time as the CTO for Windward - the need for a runbook automation tool that would allow business logic to be applied to the underlying systems which make up a companies OSS seemed clear. RealOps was born from the early prototyping that I helped guide and perform which was later purchased by BMC Software and is now used in their BMC Atrium product line.After transitioning to RealOps my role was to help direct the overall product direction and directly work with our customers to best understand how to improve the product.

Part of the original team (employee #3) that organically grew this startup to 150 employees and be one of the 50 fastest growing companies in Greater Washington. As the CTO my charter was to drive the technology of the company and provide leadership to the consultants that were engaging with our customers.

Part of the original Virginia office start up team. During this time I provided consultative services to UUNET, MCI and other top tier global ISP's.

As one of the world's largest information companies after acquiring Reuters - the company spun up a think-tank to develop a highly available online information service to its customers. TIER was a "startup" that was funded and overseen by the Thomson board to provide a world-class online information service and was ahead of its time in the mid 90's.As part of the Engineering team I provided network, systems and enterprise management leadership for the budding online service.

Provided network engineering support for one of the largest global managed networks services. Technologies included ATM, Frame Relay, TCP/IP, DECnet, AppleTalk and Novell.

World-wide support to sales team. Delivered presentations and managed initial deployments of Network Management software solution.
