The Master/Offshore Installation Manager is the most senior leadership position offshore and is responsible for all aspects of the $800K /day operation. In this role I provide direct leadership to 6 supervisors, each of them managing upwards of 30 employees. • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the Deepwater Drillship asset. • Supervise the clients project scope and ensure that it is meeting the daily objectives.• Drive safety initiatives to improve safety performance and reduce incidents on the vessel.• Maintain a strong and open customer relationship that creates trust and improves morale. • Manage performance initiatives that deliver a 98% uptime performance. • Review Key Performance Indicators with department supervisors and execute improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

Chief Mate aboard 6th Generation Drill ship Discoverer AmericasAssist the Master in exercising effective control over the rig’s marine operations with due regard for safety of personnel, maintenance of the rig equipment, and protection of the environment. Ensure conformance to local/international laws relating to the vessel’s operation, and strictly comply with current pollution regulation. Manage the bridge crew for proper operations and power management. Ensure bridge manned at all times to ensure SCADA system compliance.

Operate dynamic positioning (DP) equipment, and vessel in conjunction with marine construction / vessel operations. Ensure job compliance for set job parameters. Ensure safe operations are followed, and vessel movements are in conjunction with set job expectations. Safe Navigation of vessel in very close proximity to other vessels, or structures.

Second Officer / Dredge Master aboard Hopper dredge. Responsible for safe and effective dredge operations. Responsible for safe navigation of vessel. Manage dredge operations as per federal and state parameters.

Oversee 8 passenger vessels. Comply with USCG requirements and NAVICS. Oversee budgets of vessels and state operating requirements. Responsible for crewing and manning vessels. Ensuring all USCG training requirements are met by licensed crew. Perform ISM / ISPS audits. Manage day to day operations and schedules of crew and vessels.

Employed as mate aboard 260' work boat in Gulf Of Mexico. Worked as mate aboard offshore tug / wire boat. Primarily moving oil products on East coast. Perfromed Ship assist with tug, New York harbor.
