Engage in Education is a local charity based in Limerick. We help students from disadvantaged areas fully realize their educational potential. We engage early in life and provide a continuum of supports to children and their parents that fosters equality and social inclusion. We provide information, encouragement, financial and emotional support to empower students and their parents to make the commitment necessary to advance through all levels of the education system. We believe this will have a positive impact on the student, family and local community. We passionately believe that education can break the cycle of poverty for low income families and provide many life opportunities. We deliver a number of programmes to students and parents that encourage educational progression. These programmes have being developed from our 4-year strategic plan (2018-2022) and national policy
