Work with other IT functional areas to resolve issues, where appropriate.• Test compatibility of hardware and software that is to be deployed.• Monitor levels of on-hand hardware to ensure adequate replacements are available.• Monitor tickets received after hours and take appropriate action on priority issues.• Ensure that inventory is being recorded properly by Help Desk staff in the inventory tracking system, and schedule periodic audits.• Participate as needed, in the training of end users in the effective use of technology related devices to include, computer hardware and software, as well as, mobile technology.• Create and promote a customer focused attitude within the Help Desk that projects a helpful and supportive attitude to all users.• Coordinate orders, disconnects, and deployment of mobile devices.• Be available and responsive to emergency situations or other critical matters whenever they arise.• Assist with monthly reporting on key Help Desk metrics and be able to suggest and implement improvements.• Attend and actively participates in supervision and staff meetings.
