Responsible for the management of technical teams delivering services across both the Build and Production Lifecycle for the Infrastructure Estate (Servers, Virtualisation, Storage, Networks, Firewalls, Telephony), whilst also ensuring compliance with a heavily regulated and audited Financial Services structure. Core Responsibilities: • End-to-end technical ownership of the IT Infrastructure geographically distributed between the Production / DR Datacentres and Office Based services • Leadership of 25 resources across five different technology teams including the continued operational management and development staff• Resource Demand Management to ensure both operational BAU activities are fulfilled and project / delivery requests are completed within defined timescales• Budgetary ownership of £1m annual operational spend across multiple vendors, including responsibility for processing renewals, licensing compliance, and ongoing Vendor Service Reviews• Upkeep of the Infrastructure Inventory, reporting on the estate volumes, adherence to standards, and compliance with key control processes such as Build Assurance, Patching Compliance, Anti Virus, Backup, Monitoring • Membership and attendance within various boards and committees such as CAB, Design Review Board, Service Transition Board, IT Risk Committee• Ownership of the resolution / remediation of all IT Risks and Audit Findings which reside within Infrastructure responsibility

Responsible for the Leadership of technical resources delivering business-to-business Managed Hosting Solutions out of the Company’s Datacentres and continual improvements to service through product evolution and process efficiencies. Core Responsibilities: • 24 x 7 Operational ownership of the Northern UK Datacentres covering approx 10,000 sq.ft across two sites including the Management of 20+ staff within multiple technical and engineering teams• Provision, operation, and maintenance of all Datacentre Services including power, air-conditioning, environment controls, server-racking, hardware / software installation and management• Over 100 different clients ranging from basic co-location services to fully-managed highly available solutions for large UK brand names• Duty Manager responsibilities, including OOH support for any customer or technical escalations across all UK Datacentres• Working with the Product Management Team to continually evolve the customer offering in-line with market demands whilst ensuring adherence to standards and supportability

Pipex Communications (formally GX Networks) were a supplier of Managed IT Services delivered primarily out of our UK Data Centres to a number of businesses in the UK. Responsible for the management and operation of the company’s northern Data Centres during a period of aggressive acquisition and ultimately consolidation of these services to maximise profitability. Core Responsibilities: • Management of 30 staff across 6 - 8 teams in different geographic locations including adherence to all HR People Management policies and procedures• Operational ownership of four Datacenters across Leeds, Nottingham, and Doncaster • Service Management across a varied product range including Shared Hosting platforms, Co-location services and fully-managed highly available solutions for large UK brand names• Provision, operation, and optimisation of all Datacentre Services including power, air-conditioning, environment controls, server-racking, hardware / software installation and management• Duty Manager responsibilities, including OOH support for any customer or technical escalations across all UK Datacentres• Working alongside technical pre-sales staff to review new customer solutions and ensure adherence to standards and supportability
