Summary(John Rula)I believe that my evolution as a professional matured when I started working at Penso over 9 years ago. I was given the opportunity to become a Manufacturing / Process Engineer after working for 25 years on production assembly lines and later in a test and development department, working on new product and vehicle testing whilst at London Taxis International. I used this knowledge to improve productivity, quality and reduce costs on building the Mercedes Taxis on a production line. I progressed to become a Lead Manufacturing Engineer and was given new additional products to put into production including, producing a ‘Security Box’ for a prestige car manufacturer, the assembly of a carbon fibre aircraft seats for a high-end manufacturer, the assembly of Penso’s own carbon panelled delivery and grocery vans using the Mercedes Sprinter platform and improving the productivity and the quality of the ‘Electrical Harness’ manufacturing area. Later I became a Production Manager for all those areas.Recently I assisted in the establishment of a start-up company (Ryse 3D), setting in place the management and production structures to put a product into production.I am a highly skilled & well-rounded Manufacturing & Process Engineer with a proven track record with new products launches across the automotive industries. I am a focussed self-motivated team player with a broad knowledge base & experience working with teams & developing relationships with key stakeholders. I have experience of managing department workloads to ensure quality & timely deliverables. I am excellent under pressure and have a can-do and an enthusiasm to learn & succeed attitude.
