Worked closely with pilot MEMS fab team to understand interactions between electrodes and MEMS support structure, and to modify design of both process and structure to achieve performance goals. • Scaled up small R&D team with manual process to two-shifts running on automated processing equipment. Managed both tech development of new materials and processes and ops aspects of pilot line, driving pace of experimental starts, builds, testing. Hired, managed, and mentored tech staff, line manager, and pilot line operators• Created SQL database to track all materials, experiments, processes, builds, in-process and final test data. Managed development of associated tools to enable arbitrary definition of processes, process parameters. Database spans hundreds of tables, thousands of experiments, 3TB of data and counting.• Developed automated analytical tools to provide real-time reporting across the company, from Executive Team summaries to individual lot statistics for engineers. Created company tech intranet to provide easy access to knowledge base at all levels, from any workstation.
