Manufacturing Engineer
Current• Primary Responsibilities include project management, new equipment integration, testers troubleshooting support, ergonomics analysis and process improvement, RPN reduction, and continuous improvement• Trained in Magna Ergonomic methodology, Risk Assessment, and various industry analysis techniques for reviewing and improving ergonomics and safety of processes for operators• Focus on improvement of various detection, occurrence, and where applicable severity of processes to reduce PFMEA RPN. • Managed multiple projects including line improvements, rebalances, ergo and safety equipment• Development of detailed Statements of Work for Capital Expense projects, review with potential vendors, and assisted corporate with selection and kickoff of projects.• Assisted maintenance personnel in line work, fabrication, and install of new equipment• Worked closely with MPS (Magna Process Specialist) members for line rebalancing, continuous improvement, and operations request integration• Install, wire, programming, and validation of vision sensors and systems• Nexonar Install, wiring, and programming with support from vendor• Overhaul and bringing plant layout up to date• PSHSR documentation and review
