• Assist with the overall administration of an NCAA Division I athletic program consisting of 22 sports employing 36 full-time and 42 part-time individuals.• Approved all scheduling and budget requests for assigned sports and successfully worked within the athletic operating budget. • Develop and manage department budgets including all sport and recreation areas.• Coordinated construction of the Turf Field and Track, Wellness Center, Athletic Fields improvements and renovations to the Athletics & Recreation Center. Develop, oversee and plan for all college athletic facilities, their operation, use and upkeep.• Serve as direct supervisor for Assistant Athletic Director for Student Services, Assistant Director for Recreational Services, Director of Operations and Director of Marketing & Promotions positions. • Assist with the department's Fundraising efforts through the creation of the Black & Gold club. • Developed a partnership with Nike that provides direct support to the department’s budget as well as improving the image of the athletic teams.• Instituted and administered the department's first comprehensive marketing and promotions program. • Coordinate all on campus athletic events and ensure the proper execution within the guidelines of the NCAA, Northeast 10 Conference and University.• Coordinate communication and act as liaison with the University’s facilities management, student-life, information technology, Admissions and financial aid offices. • Involved with personnel decisions/hiring/evaluations and departmental decision making policies, sport sponsorship and equity issues.• Represent the college in the absence of the director.Specialties: Athletic construction
