I am a father of 3 wonderful kids and husband to a loving wife of 24 years. Born and raised in Independence, Missouri. I learned at a very young age that no matter your ability, if you could work hard there would always be someone willing to put you to work. I learned these traits from some of my fantastic mentors I encountered in the Scouting program. Myself, I am an Eagle Scout and still devote a great deal of time to others through the Scouting program. It is my great pleasure to witness a young person be challenged by difficulty and conquer their fears or dig deep for something they desire. All the while developing leadership skills, encouragement, maturity and an empathy for people and the world around us. I’m grateful to be involved in a program that actively works on addressing these needs in our community and with our young people.Outside of my Scouting, I enjoy time with family, bonfires, a good beverage, working out in the yard and fixing things which has always appealed to my inquisitive nature.
