I attended Wagner College on Staten Island where I played Division 1 Mens Lacrosse and graduated in 2012 with a bachelors degree in biology. I then joined the US Air Force and attended Technical Training at the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine to become a Bioenvironmental Engineering Technician. I was selected for NYS Active Duty as a Force Protection Specialist on Joint Task Force Empire Shield (JTFES). During my time with JTFES I also attended NYIT in Old Westbury, NY to attain my Masters Degree in Environmental Technology and Sustainability. Most recently, I have become the acting Non-commisioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) for the 106th Rescue Wing Bioenvironmental Engineering Office in Westhampton Beach, NY. In this role I perform and manage occupational and environmental health site assessments to support peacetime and wartime contingency operations. Includes anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling exposures to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards while performing industrial hygiene, radiological safety, environmental health, and medical readiness assessments. I am looking to make a transition to the civilian sector and am seeking a position in the environmental engineering/consulting field.
