As a Principal Software Architect for the vRouter division I am responsible for thearchitectural design of various components of a leading edge software router. Iproduce initial prototypes of new technologies, train staff, and lead projects todeliver new products. Projects I have led include a bottom up redesign of ourmanagement infrastructure, the implementation of our vCPE platform, and ourmerchant silicon integration efforts.

As a Network Software Engineer, I was responsible for the design and maintenanceof components of the Vyatta Operating System including VRRP, VPN, L2 forwarding,and management infrastructure. I was also responsible for designing the prototypefor the distributed services platform.

As a TA in the computer science department I aided in the development ofassignments, graded assignments, and tutored students in courses includingProgramming Languages, Discrete Mathematics, and Artificial Intelligence.

While I was in high school and until I finished my master’s program, I was thesole Network and Systems Administrator for this pipe threading plant. I created thiscompany’s first production network. Additionally, I implemented an application formanaging tooling and job scheduling on CNC machines.
