I am the Managing Deputy of Transactions and the Deputy--Aviation, Environmental, Regulatory and Contracts at the City of Chicago Law Department. In this capacity, I supervise attorneys handling a variety of transactional matters involving the City of Chicago as well as the attorneys that handle a wide range of transactional, regulatory and dispute matters for the Chicago airports (O'Hare and Midway), as well as legal issues relating to procurement, environmental matters and utility regulation.I was a partner in the Corporate and Securities practice group in Sidley Austin’s Chicago office. In this capacity I represented clients in a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, affordable housing and other investment funds, restructurings, major contractual matters and corporate counseling assignments.
