• Participated in the formulation of the restructured strategic business plan for presentation to the FirstRand Head Office strategic board in South Africa in relation to the proposal for the setup of FirstRand’s offering in the Middle East and India;• After the approval of the strategic business plan, participated in the formulation of the subsequent detail and operational plan for presentation to the Dubai authorities for a license to operate within the Dubai International Finance Center under the DFSA regulations;• Authorised by the DFSA to hold the position of both Senior Manager and Finance Officer;• Developed comprehensive Management Information System and analytics for financial, operational and administration allowing decisions and recommendations to be made thus improving efficiency and effectiveness;• Head the devolved team tasked with the production of the annual financial statements for the RMB Mutual Fund ICC Limited;• Developed financial accounting processes in conjunction with the external auditors to allow the production of the year end annual statutory accounts for the fledgling Mutual Fund Incorporated Cell Company for which there were no previous precedents;• Participated in the formulation of compliance and legal take on procedures for new clients;• Successfully oversaw the processes and transfer of all Luxembourg business to the management of the London office of RMB International;• Managed the Company finance function through several major changes and also oversaw the completion of all accounting and operational reporting related to the Luxembourg business and regulations;• Regularly deputized for the International Group Financial Controller of FirstRand International.

This is the lead finance position with full accountability for all financial aspects of Capita Group Plc across its non-United Kingdom based financial service business units managing the teams within accounting, expenses, tax, treasury and financial control. It is an all-encompassing finance role with responsibility for management, financial management, financial reporting, corporate governance and staff management. The role will participate fully in the corporate strategy and planning process, ensure financial management arrangements are sound and effective and to ensure that financial information provided is accurate, complete, up to date, timely and objective.
