I am a professional educator with over 15 years of experience teaching and learning in various international institutions and curriculum frameworks, with a bachelor's degree in Biology, and masters' degrees in Bioethics and Education.In my role as MYP Coordinator, convinced of the impact that education has on society, my ongoing goal is to foster student-centered approaches to teaching that equip learners with what they need to be sensitive, critical, and acting members of the local and global communities.Also, I am a proud member of the IB Educators Network, where I act as Author of the MYP e-assessments. Additionally, I am an IB examiner for the DP Biology external assessment, the MYP e-assessment, and moderator of the Personal Project.The various roles in the IB, covering the MYP and the DP, gave me a broad understanding of the continuum providing the knowledge and skills to implement strategies that ensure a swift transition from the PYP to the MYP and from the MYP to the DP.
