Contracts Manager responsible for leading the delivery of contracts awarded to C2V+ (a JV between VolkerStevin and Jacobs) under the United Utilities AMP6 Capital Delivery Framework.Overall responsibility for projects delivery from Contract Award through to handover; including management of the design, construction & testing/commissioning phases. Leadership of the contract delivery team with up to five direct report Project Managers. Responsibility for the correct management and administration of the contract (NEC3), along with commercial accountability for all projects.The overall value of contracts managed throughout the AMP6 period was approximately £100M. This included the major £54M Morecambe Catchment Strategy scheme which involved the construction of 23ML of additional stormwater storage at Schola Green Terminal Pumping station, installation of a circa 5km long rising main, major process and upgrade works at Morecambe WwTW and upsizing/improvement works to the treated effluent outfall pipeline. This contract was awarded in February 2017 and completed in Spring 2021. Morecambe Catchment Strategy was also awarded Utility Project of the Year at the 2020 by the British Construction Industry and the team were also rewarded with the United Utilities Project of The Year for 2018/19 in recognition of the high health & safety standards attained.Other AMP6 contracts managed range in value from £500k to £22M; and include a further major WwTW improvement scheme at Ulverston, which was successfully delivered to an extremely tight programme deadline to meet a client regulatory output requirement. Promoted to Construction (Operations) Manager in January 2022 as I transitioned across to the AMP7 programme. Currently operational representative within the C2V+ Senior Leadership Team, managing operations at a strategic level with two Contracts Managers directly reporting into myself. The total value of the AMP7 programme is approximately £250M.

Responsible for delivery of wastewater projects in North Wales, under the AMP4 & AMP5 Capital Investment Programmes, working closely with the Process Delivery Partner (Imtech) where applicable. Overall responsibility for management of schemes, from inception through to construction and handover to the Operator; covering the following disciplines:• Feasibility Design/Optioneering• Planning and Third Party Consultation• Land Acquisition (by liaison with Client’s Property Services Manager)• Target Cost/Detailed Design• Programming• Commercial Management, working to Business Plan budgets agreed with OFWAT.• Construction, Commissioning and Handover.

Contracts Manager for the Highways Maintenance division; with overall responsibility for contracts delivery and co-ordination of civils, surfacing, traffic management and streetlighting activities. Contracts included:East Riding of Yorkshire Bituminous Surfacing Term Contract – 4 year contract to undertake carriageway resurfacing works, along with associated civils works, on highways within EYRC. Annual value c£3.5m. A638 Doncaster Quality Bus Corridor (Phase 1) – Carriageway widening to form new bus lane; along with resurfacing, streetlighting and civils works. Value c£2.1m Dudley MBC Minor Works Term Contract – Minor improvement and maintenance works to off-highway areas; eg schools and parks. Value of works completed circa £1.5m.Leeds City Council Minor Works Term Contract – Minor highway maintenance works. Value of works completed circa £1.0m. Glossop Town Centre Improvements Scheme – Public realm works, involving extensive natural stone paving to town centre areas and station forecourt. Civil engineering works to construct new stone clad reinforced concrete staircase for access to supermarket and railway station. Value c£1.7m.

Responsible for contract management of tendered schemes within the rail part of the business, plus four schemes on the Manchester – Styal line under the company’s Building Framework Agreement (BFA) with Network Rail (LNW region). Schemes as follows:• Rugby Station Mk2 Project – Construction of new platform and ticket hall building, plus associated station approach road improvement works (Value - c£5M).• East Didsbury Station – Reconstruction of platforms and associated access ramps (Value - c£3M).• Mauldeth Road Station – Reconstruction of platforms and associated access ramps, including reinforced earth embankment widening works (Value c£3M).• Gatley Station – Reconstruction of platforms and associated access ramps (currently in pre-construction planning phase) (Value c£3M).• Burnage Station – Reconstruction of platforms and associated access ramps, including reinforced earth embankment widening works (currently in pre-construction planning phase) (Value - c£3.5M).Contracts Manager for all northern area schemes within the BFA from February 2007 – October 2007.Contracts Manager for Commercial Buildings Framework (North) for West Coast Trains - two year framework contract, commencing in autumn 2006; involving various dilapidations, renewals and enhancement schemes on stations managed by West Coast Trains (Virgin). Approximate value £2-3M/year. Individual scheme values ranging from £10k to c£500k.Contracts Manager – NWR Class 170 Gauging Project. Coper adjustments to station platforms on the Trans-Pennine Route, to enable introduction of Class 170 stock.

Responsible for delivery of ten ‘green field’ Wastewater Treatment Works projects in North Wales, as part of the Welsh Water AMP3 Capital Investment Programme. Working from an Area Project Office near Chester, co-located with design team and Alliance M&E Partner (Meica Process Limited). Overall responsibility for management of each project, from inception through to construction and handover to the Operator; covering the following disciplines:• Feasibility Design/Optioneering• Planning and Third Party Consultation• Land Acquisition (by liaison with Client’s Property Services Manager)• Target Cost/Detailed Design• Programming• Commercial Management, working to Business Plan budgets agreed with OFWAT.• Construction, Commissioning and Handover.All schemes developed concurrently, to meet successive regulatory completion dates between March 2002 and December 2005.
